How to Check If Your Windows 10 Off Normally
Windows 10 could have problems, even at the beginning of its emergence, many of the problems it faces. One of them is a sudden inactivity caused by forced by the system.
You can also force Windows 10 to disable forcefully via the power button, by pressing for a few seconds the power button on the laptop or desktop until the system turns off. However this is not recommended if other alternatives are not available.
While suspecting the system is experiencing problems, or other users force the Windows 10 device to switch off, you can check it in the event log. Through the event logs, you can check the Windows 10 device is off normally, via the proper event ID. Here's how.
1. To display the disabled event of Windows 10, open the Run box via the Wind + R shortcut and type 'eventvwr.msc'.2. In the left-hand column, describe Windows logs> System.
3. In the right hand column, you will find the option to filter the current log. Then click 'Filter Current Log ...'.
4. In Filter Current Log, klol in the box, your location includes Event ID to see all registered and appropriate events.
5. Event ID you need to filter is Forced Shut Down: Event ID 6008; Normal Shut Down: Event ID 6006; System Crash / BSOD: Event ID 1001; and System Turned On: Event ID 6005.
6. This step will not inform you when the system is restarted. You can filter event ID 6006 and 6005 and compare with time records per ID.
7. Then, the system will display the event information related to the system start time. The description will display the phrase 'The Event log service was started'. This is a service that records all events on Windows, as well as those that start and end with Windows.
Unfortunately, Events will not show the difference between how the system is disabled, for example via the power menu or via Command Prompt, or through an application.
In addition, this way will also not show the difference between the way the system is forced to inactive, for example by pressing the power button for a while or the system connection is lost.
