Nokia 3310 4G Official, Can WiFi and WhatsApp Use
HMD Global as the holder of the Nokia brand officially announced the upgraded version of Nokia 3310 "reborn". The basic phone now supports the VoLTE 4G Internet network (Voice Over LTE).
In addition to 4G internet support, Nokia 3310 4G can also be connected with Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspots. Nokia 3310 4G is the successor of the Nokia 3310 version of "reborn" released HMD Global in 2017 and the new 3G internet service support.
The Nokia 3310 4G runs with the operating system (OS) YunOS made by Alibaba based on Android Open Source Project (AOSP). That is, technically Nokia 3310 4G allows to access WhatsApp, Facebook Lite, and YouTube. Unlike the Nokia 3310 "reborn" which uses the Nokia Series 30+ OS.
From the official Nokia Chinese page, the Nokia 3310 4G's look is still similar to its predecessor. Offering nostalgia with original Nokia 3310 design complete with numeric keypad and Snake game.
Nokia 3310 4G is equipped with 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of storage media that can be upgraded up to 64 GB via microSD card. Unlike the previous Nokia 3310 which only has 16 MB of internal memory and a maximum 32 GB increase.
In addition to differences in OS and storage media, other Nokia 3310 4G specifications spelled out the same as its predecessor. Like, the diagonal of a small 2.4 inch screen that supports a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
On the rear body embedded single camera with 2 megapixel resolution and LED flash. Nokia 3310 4G equipped with 1200 mAh battery like its predecessor. However, due to increased features, battery life was reduced with a maximum of 15 days standby than 25.3 days in Nokia 3310 version of "reborn".
There is no price tag of Nokia 3310 4G on the Nokia page, possibly if full information will be available at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, next February.
The so-called HMD Global plans also regenerate the legendary Nokia series such as N-Gage and E72 that support 4G quality and other improved specifications
