Here's how to share photos or videos using AirPlay from your iOS device to Apple TV:
1. Make sure that your position is near the Apple TV.
2. Open the app you want to use to share using AirPlay.
3. Tap. In certain apps, like Photos, tap, then tap AirPlay.
4. Select AirPlay device. You do not see Apple TV? Make sure your iOS device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as Apple TV.
Reflects iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Here's how to reflect the entire screen on iOS devices to Apple TV:
1. Make sure that your position is near the Apple TV.
2. On your iOS device, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Control Center.
3. In the Control Center, tap Display Mirroring, then select Apple TV from the list. You do not see Apple TV? Make sure your iOS device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as Apple TV.
4. If the AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen, enter the passcode on your iOS device.
TV will use screen orientation and aspect ratio of iOS devices. To fully reflect the iOS device's screen on the TV screen, change the aspect ratio or zoom settings of the TV.
Turn Off Airplay or Screen Mirroring
Open an app that uses AirPlay.
2. Tap the screen symbol. To stop mirroring iOS devices go to the Control Center and tap Display Mirroring.
3. Tap the iOS device from the list.
